About The Bumper Man

M&R Welding started out 15 years ago as a hobby, and has grown through the years into the business it is today. Better known as 'The Bumper Man' Mike Richardson has been around racing most of his life. His grandfather owned a race car back in the 50's which his father drove at the old Dunbar fairgrounds. Mike takes pride in his work and believes in keeping prices down so racers can afford to keep racing. He not only builds bumpers and accessories for most race car chassis he also does repairs. Mike attends swap meets in Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. See Contact page for details.
