The owner, William Moore, got started working on cars at the age of 17. His father bought him a 1980 Toyota Corolla, and he took it apart and then put it back together, just to see how it worked! From then on, he has worked on cars. He started out at Wildcat Automotive in Arizona, followed by Mr. Clutch, also in Arizona.' 'Mr. Clutch is where Will got his start on transmissions. He was hired on as the cleanup boy, but couldn't keep his nose away from the transmission bench. He was what they call a pest. He asked a million questions, and wouldn't go away. Literally, he was fired from there 3 times, but would not go home. Seeing the determination in the young man, the boss kept him. His career there fell short when, just a month before his son Isaac was born, he broke his neck. He was unable to continue working at Mr. Clutch.' 'Will moved to Oklahoma in 2002 and got his footing here at a shop called Sharper Image, detailing cars for free. He worked there for a good 6 months before opportunities came knocking on his door, and he rented his 1st shop in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. We couldn't afford a shop and a home, so we chose the shop. We lived in it (yes, for real) for 3 months. He worked on cars, and I (Anna) waited tables and went to school. Luckily, that didn't last long. Bobby soon joined Will's team, and they started to fill our little shop up. So we had to move to a bigger one. Will named it Chilly Willy Auto Repair. Pretty soon there was a need for me too, so I quit my waitressing job, and hopped on board. We stayed there for about 5 years. After the unfortunate tornado in 2009, we packed up and moved to Ardmore, renaming ourselves Advanced Transmission'
