Smokey Mountain Funding was established in 1988 by CLP professional Ted Prichard. Ted was a graduate of The Citadel and served with the 82nd Airborne in Viet Nam. In 1999 the business moved to Hendersonville, NC where Ted was joined by his oldest son Tripp Prichard. Ted and Tripp possess vast knowledge of the leasing and commercial finance industry and have used this experience to propel Smokey Mountain to being an industry leader. Tripp Prichard has been running the day to day business of Smokey Mountain since 2004 when he was elevated to its President. Sadly, Ted passed away in the fall of 2009.
