I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in individual therapy. I have experience working with groups and am open to offering group therapy as the need presents itself. My private practice is called Seeking Other Solutions, LLC, with offices in Raymond, Mississippi and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.' 'With over 20 years experience as a counselor, and as a Counselor Education graduate, I believe in teaching coping skills for a variety of adjustment issues. Currently serving as a private practitioner, I work with a broad spectrum of clients which includes school-age children, adolescents, working adults, and retired seniors. Much of my expertise comes from the treatment of clients suffering from anxiety, depression, and anger related issues. Many of my current clients are working adults seeking stress management. 'I consider myself primarily a cognitive behavioral therapist with a therapeutic approach that is often experiential. I address the health benefits of relaxation on the very first session. My belief is that clients, when relaxed, can separate from the problem, long enough to view it more objectively. As a former educator, I use reality therapy frequently when working with students and clients with addictive behaviors.
