Retherford Jewelry was originally known as Clevenger Watch Shop, founded in 1947 by Owen Clevenger. Owen, a Certified Master Clock Maker, operated a small repair shop with a few hand-crafted clocks and pocket watches for sale. In June of 1987. 'Owen prepared to retire and planned on passing the business to his nephew. 'On Dec 1, 1987, ownership was officially transferred to Ed Retherford And the business name was changed to Retherford Jewelry. Now, more than 65 years later, we are still located in Kokomo. 'Our shop uses the most modern equipment available. We take great pride in our trade. All of our repair services are performed on the premise. We care for your precious items in our possession as if they are irreplaceable works of art, which in a sense, they are.
