About Carmel Garden Court Inn

Originally constructed in 1949 as eleven apartments, the Carmel Garden Inn retains the charm of its original design. Under the new management of Susan, Julian and Dennis, the focal point of our bed and breakfast remains its gardens. Whether the gardens of the five private patio suites, the large open garden with three seating areas, or the gardens around our b and b, all are designed to complement the serenity and charm of Carmel while affording a feeling of privacy and intimacy not usually found.

Choose a patio suite. Each of these five has a private patio measuring 11 by 13 feet. Inside are large rooms with wood-burning fireplaces and seating areas with wet bars. Four of these suites have world class king box spring/mattress combo, insuring your sleep will be one of the best of your life and the other has two queen sized beds.

Choose Rosita, with its peek of the ocean over the rooftops of Carmel. Choose one of our three Torres Street rooms that are cozy and also have wood-burning fireplaces.

Many of the rooms in our b and b are designated pet friendly. Sheeted dog beds, food and water bowls, treats…we understand. Trevi is our standard poodle and we love to travel with her.

Our staff collectively has more than 80 years of experience in the area that we are happy to share with our guests; from wonderful restaurants, local wineries, hiking trails and hidden treasures in the Monterey area.
